Short & Sweet (& Warm)

If you find yourself to be vertically challenged, like my mom, shorter coats are the way to go. This coat is light, so wear a fleece or sweater under it for extra warmth. While the color is on the "blah" side, it allows you to add brightness or pop a pattern with a scarf. This is great because you can buy one coat and multiple scarves and, violà, various looks. The scarf shown below incorporates the grays from the coat (so it matches) while adding in a new, brighter, pallet of colors. The perfect splash of color.
